Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that muscle soreness is not uncommon after a treatment, especially for those who don’t receive frequent bodywork sessions. This usually will subside after a day or two. Rest and hydration are important in the recovery process.
Total Relaxation massage utilizes long flowing strokes to reduce stress and tension. This message uses gentle to firm pressure and doesn’t have the same intensity as deep tissue work. It’s a great way to end a week of hard work! The benefits of a relaxation massage include but aren’t limited to alleviating tension in the muscles, improved circulation, and an overall boost in mood. Due to its more gentle nature, a relaxation massage isn’t intended to treat sports injuries or discomfort.
Lomi Lomi is the Hawaiian word for “massage”, and it is part of a larger native Hawaiian tradition of healing and natural body care. According to Hawaiian tradition, all living beings are seeking a state of balance and love in the world. During a Lomi Lomi session, therefore, I focus on not only relaxing your body through gentle touch and flowing movements, but also reviving your spirit and filling your body with restorative energy. When the body is relaxed, deeper muscle work can be achieved.
This massage has to be confirmed with me before an appointment can be made.
Touch for Health™ Applied Kinesiology is a safe, practical alternative therapy designed to balance the body's electrical energy system using muscle responses to gentle pressure. Muscular and energetic imbalances, physical and emotional root causes of pain, and stress patterns are identified and corrected by holding, tapping, or massaging specific points, tracing electrical pathways (meridians), or working with acupressure points. The results may include profound structural changes and pain relief, releasing long-standing reactive muscle patterns and at times lifting the heaviness of deep emotional burdens through words, touch, color or sound.

Pranic Healing is a highly developed and tested system of energy treatment that uses prana to balance, harmonize and transform the body’s energy processes. Prana is the Sanskrit word that means life-force. This invisible bio-energy or vital energy keeps the body alive and maintains good health. In acupuncture, the Chinese refer to this energy as Chi. In Japanese it is called Ki, as in Reiki.
Pranic Healing is a simple, yet powerful and effective system of non-touch energy healing. It is based on the fundamental principle that the body is a self-repairing entity that possesses the innate ability to heal itself. Pranic Healing works on the understanding that the healing process is accelerated by increasing the life force or vital energy to the affected part of the body.
